Reading has, unfortunately, not been my priority or something I've managed to do regularly the last two years. Between school, work, and general adult life "things", I just haven't been able to make time for it. I'm reeeeeally hoping that will finally change this year though (spoiler: it did! ^__^), as there are honestly so many books I want to read (both old and new), and I do also just really miss reading being a part of my daily life and routine.
My main focus this year is going to be re-reading old favourites, particularly big fantasy series that I haven't read in 5+ years (like Harry Potter and The Mortal Instruments), along with getting back into reading more graphic novels and manga. I have set my goal fairly low, at 26 books, but in an ideal world, I would like to read at least double that (which I did and then some - yus! *dances*). I'm going to try to read every day, even if it's only a few pages, so hopefully that will allow me to finally read an amount of books throughout the year that I am both happy and proud of. :)
